Welcome to Honeypot Farmhouse! Your whole crew can cozy up by the Great Room fireplace to warm up after a full day at Bromley or Okemo.
The sitting room bursts with natural light and provides extra space to enjoy a local brew and relax. From here, you're in the center of the action between the kitchen and Great Room.
Have no FOMO while manning the stove because our open concept kitchen is adjacent to both the dining room and sitting room, so everyone has space to banter over charcuterie and a few glasses of crisp rosé.
Upstairs, you'll find 4 bedrooms filled with 8 beds that sleep 11 people. This one, "The Sapphire Room" features a brand new queen bed and is perfect for a couple.
Enjoy your morning coffee on this gorgeous handmade swing. The front porch wraps around to a set of French doors into the dining room.
There's a wonderful wine and cheese shop in Ludlow where experts can help guide you to the perfect charcuterie spread of locally-sourced delights.
Jami and Brian built this ol' thing by hand, and we're pretty jazzed about it 🙂
Sit one one of the three peninsula barstools and gaze across this chef's kitchen.
We were very intentional about creating a space where our family and yours could all share in each other's company and conversation while cooking dinner or preparing a mid-afternoon snack.
Think of all the yummy meals you and your family will be able to whip up here. Enjoy local treats from the West River Farmer's Market during the warmer months or the surprisingly well-stocked Londonderry market year-round.
We designed our home to be a little slice of 1850s New England with all the modern touches.
Curl up on the sitting room couch and scope the scene in the kitchen
The wood paneling on the Great Room walls used to be the exterior of the barn that sat next to the house from ~1852 until the ~1966. There are 2 photos of the old barn hanging by the fireplace
For the music lover in your family, this vintage working player piano has just been professionally tuned. Use it as a standard piano, or pump the foot pedals to have it play itself. How cool is that?!
Relax and take a load off!
The dining room table seats 8 comfortably with 4 stools at the peninsula to seat 4 more. Imagine the stories you and your family will share here! Two additional stools sit at the kitchen island, so there is plenty of room for everyone.
From the the dining room, peer out the French Doors to see the side yard which is begging you to run amongst the wildflowers. Tom Petty would approve.
Just to the right of the front door is the mudroom with a massive walnut bench for the whole family to take off their boots. Fear not, the floor is heated to keep your tootsies warm during cold winter days.
After failing to find a stock vanity that really spoke to us, we had our amazing contractors custom build this one out of walnut with a basin made of concrete.
We think you're going to want to stay with us for a while, so being able to do your laundry in the comforts of home is a huge plus. Brand new, washer/dryer sit just off this bathroom
We're pretty obsessed with how well the Sapphire Room came together! (Jami & Kara subtly dust off their shoulders.)
"The White Room" is has a full bed and a twin, so is versatile enough for one, two or three guests. The twin bed features a Helix memory foam mattress.
The sizable room features a lovely view of the side yard through its two massive windows.
"The Cappuccino Room" features a queen bed and is super cozy.
Another view of The Cappuccino Room, it's snugly queen bed, and antique dresser.
This is not Home Alone; of course you're not forgetting the kiddos! The huge "Green Room" at the end of the hall features 4 twin beds each with Helix mattresses.
Each twin bed is paired with it's own wooden trunk. You'll find extra blankets in here for those cold winter nights.
Sometimes it's nice to be able to unpack your suitcase on a luggage rack instead of the floor. Sleeping in The Big Green Room? We've got you covered!
This large bathroom has 3 sinks and a water closet with brand new lights, mirrors and faucets. Plenty of room for everyone to get ready at the same time.
This upstairs bathroom as a stall shower and the other features a tub.
The second upstairs bathroom also features 3 sinks, a water closet, and a full bathtub.
Each bathroom is stocked with body towels, hand towels, washcloths, and dark makeup towels.
The full bathtub in one of the two upstairs bathrooms is great to wash off the kiddos after an afternoon dip at nearby Hapgood Pond.
Our bright and sunny home, affectionately known by locals as "The Big Red Farmhouse".
Two gorgeous maple trees shade the wraparound porch from the lemon-yellow Vermont sun.
An aerial view of Honeypot shot from the far side of Route 100 looking east. You see the two shady maple trees between the house and road. Your fully-private home is the entire bottom section parallel to the street.
This is the side yard of your house that's shared with the back house. Let your kids and dogs play in the grass during warm months.
The same side yard in the winter. So much space to build a Guinness World Record snowman. Will your family be the one to make it into the books?
